Hyderabad: 42 Indians were killed in a horrific road accident near Medina in Saudi Arabia on Monday. A shocking news has also come out from this accident that 18 members of the same family have died in it. Most of the dead were from Hyderabad.

All the passengers were sleeping at the time of the accident

All the passengers were in deep sleep at the time of the accident. 18 people of the same family died in the accident. A person named Shoaib escaped unhurt at the time of the accident. However, due to his injuries, he is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

What is the whole matter?

At least 42 Indian Umrah pilgrims were killed when a passenger bus collided with a diesel tanker in Saudi Arabia around 1:30 am on Monday. According to initial reports, most of these devotees are from Hyderabad. It is being told that a total of 54 passengers were to board the bus but some of them did not board the bus.

In this 15-day journey, one week stays in Mecca and one week in Medina, but who knew that after one week of Mecca journey, the travelers will not see Medina. The bus was going from Mecca to Medina. Haj pilgrims were going to Medina after completing their holy rituals in Mecca.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed grief

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had expressed deep grief over the tragic bus accident involving Indian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. The accident occurred when the pilgrims were going from Mecca to Medina. As soon as information about the incident was received, the Chief Minister directed the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police to collect detailed information about the accident and find out how many people of Telangana were affected. He advised them to establish contact with the officials of the Union Ministry of External Affairs and Saudi Embassy and stressed on taking immediate relief measures if needed.
