5 tigers spotted in Chamarajanagar – ban imposed!

Chamarajanagar: Five tigers have been spotted together near Nanjedevpura village, which is causing concern among the people. Thus, a prohibition order has been enforced under Section 144 in three villages including Nanjedevpur from today till 6 pm tomorrow.

The drone also captured the scene of 5 tigers running around. Thus, the forest department has been preparing for combing since the farms. The abandoned quarries have been turned into tiger habitats and the farmers have demanded that the tigers should not be captured by drives.

MLA Puttarangashetty visited the place where the tiger capture operation is going on and reviewed the situation. Information about the tigers has been obtained from the authorities. Later this information was conveyed to Siddaramaiah and Forest Minister Ishwar Khandre over phone.

He has also requested to send an additional drone and a team of veterinarians to facilitate the tiger capture operation. He explained to the minister that at present there is only one thermal eagle drone and the work of locating the tigers is going on in it. Responding positively to this, Ishwar Khandre promised to send an additional drone and a special team soon.
