5 youths of the same family died due to drowning in Godavari river in Telangana

Transport and Backward Classes Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has expressed grief over the incident.

He said that he is sad to hear the news of the death of 5 youths in this incident. He has deep condolences to the families of the dead.

The minister has advised the local authorities to put warning boards regarding water depth on reservoirs, rivers and projects, advising people going on rivers and irrigation projects.
