55 lakh money stolen from KSRTC bus – one accused arrested!

Chikkaballapur: 55 lakhs in Bengaluru-Hyderabad KSRTC AC sleeper bus when it stopped for lunch. Hudibande police have arrested the main accused in connection with the money theft case.

On December 8, Andhra Pradesh businessman Venkateshwar Rao was traveling in a bus with money from property sales in Bengaluru. When the bus stopped near a hotel in Aruru village for dinner, a group of four thieves who chased the car stole the money bag in movie style.

The Chikkaballapur police registered a case in this regard and conducted an investigation and within 14 days, Aslankhan, a native of Madhya Pradesh, was arrested and the money confiscated. An intensive search is on for the remaining three accused Munir Khan, Abya Khan and Sheru.
