Bellary: Karnataka High Court orders registration of FIR against Sandur CPI Mahesh Gowda. On August 24, an argument took place between Sandur CPI Mahesh Gowda and Vivekananda.
Vivekananda, who was assaulted, filed a complaint with the local police station to take action against the CPI. However, despite the complaint, the police officers registered a case and did not initiate any legal action. So Vivekananda filed a writ petition in Karnataka High Court along with his medical report.

The Karnataka High Court, which heard the petition, ordered appropriate legal action against CPI Mahesh Gowda, who is accused of assaulting the public. The High Court has given strict instructions to the senior officers of the police department to file an FIR immediately in connection with the case.
