New Delhi : Although CM Siddaramaiah has gone to New Delhi to discuss the cabinet reshuffle, he has not received a green signal from the Congress high command. AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge has informed CM Siddaramaiah that no change can be made for now, thereby putting a temporary break in the cabinet reshuffle.
Siddaramaiah, who was expecting a November revolution or any significant change in the cabinet, was disappointed. In an important discussion with Mallikarjuna Kharge, he suggested that no change should be made in the interest of the party for the time being. The CM has been instructed to continue the status quo in the state. CM Siddaramaiah and DCM D.K. Shivakumar said that the seniors should continue together.

Kharge has postponed the cabinet reshuffle decision for now, AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal and state in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala said they will hold discussions. Also, Kharge has sent back an important advice to the CM that he will discuss with Rahul Gandhi and take a final decision regarding the expansion or reshuffle of the cabinet at an appropriate time. This decision came at a time when the state Congress government is completing two and a half years of its rule on November 20.
