JSW MG Motors’ Windsor electric crossover has crossed the 50,000 sales mark. He has achieved this feat in less than 400 days. The company claims that this makes the Windsor the fastest electric car to reach this figure in India. Accordingly, since its launch, the company has sold an average of about 5 vehicles every hour. Sales have also increased due to continued demand in smaller cities.

The company said that by the end of October, its sales figure reached 45,653 and to touch the figure of 50,000, it achieved the remaining 4,300 sales in 19 days of November. Since the start of sales in November last year, it has become a popular EV in the Indian market and the average sales figure every month has been around 3,800. It got the maximum number of buyers, 4,741 in September 2025.

Earlier this month, MG launched the Windsor Inspire Edition. It features a large 15.6-inch touchscreen, foldable ‘aero lounge’ seats, 6-way power driver seat and split-folding rear seats. Windsor has been launched with a 38kWh battery pack with prismatic cell, which gives a range of 331 kilometers on a single charge. It is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh with battery facility on rent. A fare of Rs 3.9/km will have to be paid for the battery.
