Serial accident in Anekal – More than 20 vehicles collided

Anacle: More than 20 vehicles collided with a container lorry in a series of accidents and four people were seriously injured near Anekal on the outskirts of Bangalore.

The accident took place from Bestamanahalli near Anekal to Chandapur. The lorry collided with the vehicles traveling on the road, and the driver did not stop despite a chase of 14 km by the police. So when the public pelted stones in Chandapur, the driver stopped, the driver was dragged out of the container and beaten by the public.

During the beating, police intervened and took the driver into custody. Drunkenness is suspected to have caused a series of horrific accidents, and the injured have been treated at hospitals.
