More than 14 female students are sick after eating hostel food

Haveri: An incident took place in Devgiri Government Engineering College, Haveri where more than 14 female students fell ill after consuming hostel food.

Last night, the students had a Holi and Anna Sambar meal. The students were suffering from stomach pain and vomiting since morning. Immediately, some students were admitted to a private hospital in the city.

It is suspected that the incident took place due to the negligence of the hostel staff and the girl students are being treated at a private hospital in Haveri.
