The father killed his daughter for marrying a foreigner!

Hubli: The incident took place in Inamveerapur village of Hubli taluk where the father brutally killed his pregnant daughter who was in love with a foreign caste youth. Manya (19) is the murdered young woman.

Manya loved and married Vivekananda. Manya – Vivekananda fell in love with each other when they were studying for a degree in a private college in Hubli. The love of the two was strongly opposed by the young woman’s respectable family members. So on June 19, Vivekananda-Manya got married in the register at Hubli.

Father Prakash Gowda Patil killed the pregnant daughter by breaking into the house because she was married and attacked her with a pipe and a hoe without even seeing that she was pregnant. Prakash Gowda horribly assaulted her daughter Manya and her mother-in-law who were at home and Manya died in a private hospital after the treatment failed.
The police have arrested three people, including father Prakash Gowda Patil. Dharwad SP Gunjan Arya visited and inspected the private hospital. A case has been registered in Hubli Rural Police Station in this regard.
