Assault on young woman for refusing love – FIR filed under BNS in Jnanabharati police station! – Btv Kannada

Bangalore: A Chikkamagaluru-based young woman was publicly assaulted by Instagram celebrity Naveen Kumar. A complaint has been registered at the Gnanabharati police station and the police are searching for the accused.

Are young women unprotected in Silicon City? The whole city has been shocked by the incident where a person met on Instagram attacked a young woman for refusing love. Originally from Chikmagalur, this young woman used to work as a tele-caller in an office in Nagarabhavi, Bangalore. Yelahanka’s Naveen Kumar, whom she met through Instagram, started pestering her to fall in love after friendship.

Enraged that the young woman kept her distance from Naveen’s behavior, the accused came to her PG and started harassing her. When a young woman was riding a bike with her girlfriend, Naveen came across a car and assaulted her. When the public saw the gathering, they fled from the spot and the gruesome scenes were captured on CCTV.

The aggrieved young woman filed a complaint at Gnanabharathi police station and the police registered a case under BNS. The police have registered an FIR against accused Naveen under BNS Sections 74, 75, 76, 78, 79 and 351(2) and have laid a trap for the accused.
