Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has condoled the horrific private bus accident in Chitradurga. The government has rushed to help the victims by announcing immediate financial assistance to the families of the deceased and the injured.

The Chief Minister has announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each to the family of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured. Officials have been given strict instructions to provide proper treatment to the injured.

CM Siddaramaiah, who has tweeted (X) about the incident, is deeply saddened to hear the news of the horrific accident that took place in Chitradurga. I pray for peace of the departed soul and speedy recovery of the injured, Kambani said.
