Bairati Basavaraj’s anticipatory bail today – Jail for the MLA.. Belo! – Btv Kannada

Bangalore: Anticipatory bail hearing of MLA Bairati Basavaraj, who is facing the murder case of rowdy sheeter Biklu Shivu, will be held in the High Court today. Bairati’s fate will be decided today as she faces the threat of arrest as her petition was dismissed by the lower court.

Bairati Basavaraj has approached the High Court after the Special Court of People’s Representatives denied him bail. High Court Vacation Bench Justice G. Basavaraj will hear the application. Senior advocate Sandesh Chowta will argue for Bairati Basavaraj. On behalf of the government, SPP B.N. Jagadish will object strongly.

CID has collected strong evidence against Bairati Basavaraj, accused A-5 in Biklu Shivu murder case. Telephone conversation (CDR) and tower location information of main accused Jagga (A-1) and Ajit (A-20) before and after the murder are in the possession of the CID officials. The CID will today convince the court that the MLA should not be granted bail due to his involvement in the assassination plot.
