Bangalore: Another huge drug deal has been uncovered in Silicon City. It was not our Karnataka police that detected this racket, but the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANTF) of neighboring Maharashtra. Officers raided clandestine factories in three parts of Bengaluru and seized drugs worth crores of rupees.

This huge network started in Mumbai. Recently, the Mumbai police arrested Abdullah Khader Shaikh for Rs 1.5 crore. He was arrested with valuable drugs. In his interrogation, the name of kingpin Prashant Yallappa Patil of Belgaum was found. When the Maharashtra ANTF police, who immediately went into action, arrested Patil and interrogated him, information about the presence of drug manufacturing factories in Bangalore was revealed.

The scam was going on in Bangalore’s Horamavu, Yarappanahalli and Kannur under the name of ‘RJ Events’. Although outwardly it looked like an event management firm, it was secretly manufacturing dangerous MD synthetic drugs.

55.88 crore during operation. A total of 21.4 kg MD drugs worth 4.1 kg solid and 17 kg liquid MD was detected. And manufacturing machinery has been confiscated. Rajasthan-based Suraj Ramesh Yadav and Malkhan Ramlal Bishnoi have been arrested along with kingpin Prashant Patil in the case.

Despite the fact that there are huge drug factories on the outskirts of the city, the Bengaluru police did not get a clue, which has led to public outrage. ‘What was our khaki force doing until the Maharashtra police came and attacked?’ Netizens are questioning that. It is suspected that drugs were being supplied not only to Bangalore but also to various states of the country from these factories. At present, the arrested have been subjected to further interrogation by the Maharashtra Police.
