Bangalore: The bulldozer operation on the houses in Yalahanka, Bangalore has become a controversy. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan strongly condemned the Karnataka government’s move to raze hundreds of poor houses, terming it as UP-style bulldozer politics in Congress-ruled Karnataka.

CM Siddaramaiah, who has woken up after this, has called an emergency meeting today regarding the rehabilitation of the victims. After Kerala CM’s statement, KC Venugopal took the state government to task and CM Siddaramaiah called a meeting of the officials at Krishna Home Office. A meeting will be held today under the leadership of CM Siddaramaiah regarding the rehabilitation of the victims.

Last few days GBA conducted a massive operation in Fakir Colony and Waseem Layout near Kogilu in Yalahanka. More than 200 houses were razed due to illegal encroachment. Due to this, hundreds of families, children and old people were left on the streets in the midst of the cold. The operation, which was carried out without any forethought or alternative arrangements, was met with great outrage.
