Gun robbery in broad daylight in Mysore – 4-5 crores worth of gold, diamond jewelery looted! – Btv Kannada

Mysore: A heinous robbery took place in Hunsur of Mysore district in broad daylight. Five armed robbers broke into a jewelery shop in the town and escaped with gold jewelery worth crores of rupees.

Five masked men on a bike suddenly entered the ‘Sky Gold and Diamond’ shop behind the Hunsur bus stand. The robbers, holding guns in both hands and threatening the staff in a cinematic fashion, looted 5 kg of gold and diamond jewelery and fled within a few minutes.

The stolen jewelery is estimated to be worth Rs 4 to 5 crore. The robbers fired at manager Ajgar who tried to stop the robbery, but he missed the target and escaped with his life. In a hurry to escape, one of the robbers left his helmet on the spot and ran away.

As soon as the matter came to know, the Hunsur police rushed to the spot and conducted an investigation. A dog squad and a team of fingerprint experts have collected evidence and on the basis of CCTV footage, a trap has been laid to trace the accused.
