Container lorry overturned – boy died, condition of two is critical! – Btv Kannada

Raibag: A school student died on the spot when a cement container lorry overturned near Halasiragura bus stand in Raibag taluk of Belagavi district. Two students were seriously injured in the incident.

The cement lorry, which was going to Sameerwadi from Maharashtra, lost control of the driver and overturned near Halasiragura bus stand. Meanwhile, three students who were waiting for the bus got hit by the lorry.

On learning about the incident, the locals informed the police. The students trapped under the lorry were pulled out with the help of JCB and cranes. In the accident, one student died on the spot and two seriously injured students were admitted to the hospital for further treatment.

A case has been registered at the Kudachi police station and the police are investigating the incident.
