Countdown to New Year Celebration – Ban on private vehicles on major roads in Bangalore! – Btv Kannada

Bangalore: All preparations have been made for the New Year celebration across the country including Silicon City. Vehicular traffic has been modified in areas where New Year celebrations are held in Bangalore. Entry to vehicles other than police & emergency vehicles is prohibited.

Bangalore MG Road – Mayo Hall Junction, Brigade Road – Kaveri Emporium to Opera Junction, Church Street – Brigade Road Junction to Museum Road. Residency Road – Aashirwadam Junction to Mayo Hall Junction, Museum Road, Old Madras Bank Road, Rest House Road, Museum Road has been diverted. A ban on vehicles has been imposed from 8 pm tonight to 3 am tomorrow.

New Year Celebration Traffic Change: Private vehicles are prohibited on major roads in Bangalore. Alternative routes have been arranged for the prohibited roads. Vehicles going towards the cantonment from Halasur side will travel through Trinity Circle, Halasur Road-Dickonson Road, Cubban Road. Vehicles coming from Dommalur side will travel through India Garage, ASC Centre, Trinity.

Vehicles coming from HAL side will pass through ASC Centre, Trinity. A separate route has also been arranged for pedestrians on Brigade Road and they have been allowed to go from MG Road Junction towards Apera Junction. Pedestrians are prohibited from driving in the opposite direction on the same road.

Parking system for New Year vehicles:

Shivajinagar BMTC Bus Stand 1st Floor, UB City, Garuda Mall and Kamaraja Road, Cab Pickup and Drop Points, Kabban Road – BRV Junction Chinnaswamy Stadium Gate-6. Parking arrangements have been made at Queens Road – CTO Junction, Raj Bhavan Road – CTO Junction Cubbon Park metro stations.

  • From Aashirvadam Circle to Bannerghatta
  • From Anil Kumble Junction towards Banashankari
  • From Anil Kumble Circle towards Nice Road Junction
  • From Anil Kumble Circle to Modi Hospital & Tollbooth
  • Decathlon Opera Junction to Nice Road Junction
  • From Hasmat Hospital towards Marathahalli
  • From Mayo Hall towards Chikkajala, Madavar
  • From Trinity Circle to Bangalore, Hoskote
