An incident of gas leaking has come to light in Ambedkar Konaseema district of Andhra Pradesh. There was panic after ONGC gas leak in Irusumanda and Malikipuram mandals in Rajolu Town of the district. Local people got scared due to huge leakage of gas. Fire has also occurred at many places due to gas leakage. High flames of fire are rising.

People nearby have informed ONGC officials about the gas leak. The administrative staff is working with the ONGC team to control the situation. After the fire incident came to light, orders have been given to evacuate the area.

Fire brigade team engaged in extinguishing the fire

Fire department official Balakrishna said that gas leaked in Irusumanda village of Malkipuram mandal. Local people have informed ONGC officials about the incident. ONGC officials, along with fire brigade and police personnel, are extinguishing the fire. The villagers are nervous and scared.

Electricity supply was also disrupted in three villages

Gas and electricity supply has also been disrupted in three nearby villages. An ONGC team is present at the spot to take stock of the situation. Efforts are being made to stop the leaked gas.
