There is an allegation of disrobing a BJP woman worker and misbehaving with her in Hubli, Karnataka. This allegation has been leveled against the policemen of Keshavpur police station. It is being said that the police did this after a complaint by a member of the Congress Municipal Corporation, due to which there is huge anger among the BJP supporters. These pictures of misbehavior with the woman have also been posted on social media. Top police officials are investigating the matter.
According to preliminary information, the woman was detained following a complaint by Congress councilor Suvarna Kallakuntala. The complaint is related to an earlier dispute between Congress and BJP workers during the voter list revision exercise in the state.
It is being told that the woman is a former Congress worker who had recently joined BJP. The controversy arose from allegations that he assisted officials in deleting the names of some voters, leading to clashes between Congress and BJP workers.
Police investigation has revealed that some criminal cases are already registered against those who were misbehaved. The Police Commissioner is currently at Keshavpur Police Station and is investigating the matter. Due to this incident, political tension continues in the area and both the parties are filing complaints against each other.
