Engineer dies after falling from 16th floor in Bengaluru, 26 year old Nikshap had returned from Europe

In a tragic incident in Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru, a 26-year-old engineer died after falling from the 16th floor. The deceased has been identified as Nikshap. According to the police, Nikshap had completed his studies in electronic engineering from Europe and was about to return to India recently and start work. There is chaos in the family after this incident. The family members are in bad condition, crying.

Death after falling from 16th floor

Police said that Nikshap was living with his parents in Prince Town Apartments located in Shettihalli area of ​​Bengaluru. The deceased’s father Kishore told the police that around 5 am on Wednesday Nikshap had called him and said that he would return home soon. “Around 8:30 in the morning, we got a call from Ravi, the president of our apartment association, and asked us to come down to the ground floor. When we reached down, we saw that our son had fallen from the 16th floor and died,” he said.

Nikshap was suffering from schizophrenia

On receiving information about the incident, the team of Bagalgunte police station reached the spot and registered the case. Officials said the cause and circumstances of the death are being investigated. In the statement given to the police, father Kishore also told that Nikshap was suffering from schizophrenia for the last few years.

According to police, the body has been sent to Victoria Hospital for post-mortem. Further investigation is ongoing in the matter.
