New Delhi: Good salary, international experience and desire for change in lifestyle often attract youth to work abroad. If there is a chance to get a better career and earn good money, then 52% of Indians will definitely pack their bags. This has been revealed in the latest survey report of Turn Group. A strong tendency to go abroad from India to earn better career and money was seen. More than half of the participants in the survey had thought about going abroad or were actively trying to do so.
What is the biggest reason for moving out of India?
In a recent survey by Turn Group, 52% of Indians said they were considering or actively preparing to move abroad. This survey is based on conversations with about 8,000 people across the country. According to the survey report, financial development emerged as the biggest reason for moving out of India. About 46% people expressed their intention to go abroad for this reason. After this, 34% people were ready to go abroad in search of a better career. Apart from this, personal dreams and global experiences were also the reasons for 9% and 4% of the respondents respectively.
Which country do Indians want to go to?
The report says that the preferences of Indians regarding foreign migration are also changing. Some 52% have changed their preferred destination over time, while 43% expressed a clear preference for international opportunities. Germany remained at the forefront with 43 percent people’s choice. After this, Britain was the choice of 17 percent people, Japan by nine percent and America by four percent.
How many nurses from Delhi-NCR want to go abroad?
Regional variation was also seen in the inclination of Indian nurses to go abroad. 61% of the nurses going abroad belonged to outside major metros while 17% of the nurses from Delhi-NCR said they were going abroad. However, challenges remain in the way of going abroad for career and money. Language requirements were cited by 44% as the biggest obstacle. Besides, unethical recruitment, lack of guidance, high expenses and lengthy processes also emerged as major problems.
