Encroachment of crores worth of railway land – eviction notice issued for houses and shops! – Btv Kannada

Bidar: Bidar District The South Central Railway Department has given a big shock to those who have built houses and shops encroaching on land worth crores of rupees belonging to the Railway Department. Officials have issued a final notice to clear the illegal buildings immediately.

In Survey No. 31 of Gullar Haveli near KEB, Bidar Nagar, some people encroached on the land belonging to the Railway Department and built houses and commercial shops for decades. Taking this illegal encroachment seriously, the officials of Secunderabad South Central Railway Division have now launched an eviction operation.

Officials visited the encroached buildings in Nandi Colony and Jyoti Colony in the city and pasted notices on the walls. Through this notice, the encroachers have been given a final warning and instructed to vacate the premises voluntarily within the specified period. It has been warned that if it is not cleared within the stipulated time, the department itself will demolish the buildings and seize the land through JCB.

Due to this sudden action by the Railway Department, the people living in the encroached houses of Nandi Colony and Jyoti Colony are worried. It is clear that the railway department has now taken a tough stand to retain land worth crores of rupees.
