Sub-Inspector Amit Maurya and local YouTuber Shivbaran Yadav are accused of rape. Yadav has been arrested, while Maurya is absconding. At present, Maurya has been suspended from police service and the car used in the crime has been recovered.

A person from Sachendi area lodged a complaint that his sister, studying in class 7, had gone to the fields to defecate on Monday night, but did not return till late in the night. When the family started searching, after midnight the girl reached home in a dejected state and told that two people forcibly caught her and took her in a black car near a deserted railway line. Alleged that she was raped in the car for 2 hours.
