During a recent conversation, Jaideep shared his journey so far and his magical experience of working with Shahrukh.

Rediff Jaideep said, “This is the second time I am working with him. While working with him, you do not feel at all that you are working with such a prestigious ‘global star’ of the world. He makes the environment so comfortable that it feels very good to work with him. Earlier, I had a very small role in the film ‘Raees’, but now it is a pleasure to be associated with him again.”

“Never thought I would get so much love”

Jaideep was asked whether he is at that stage of his career where critics and audiences consider his every work as brilliant. Isn’t this a ‘dangerous’ situation for an actor? On this, Jaideep said, “It is a big compliment for me that people are seeing my work and liking it so much. I don’t know whether it is harmful or not. I never thought that I would get so much love.”

In the conversation, Jaideep further says, “Of course I expected that my work would be appreciated, but I never thought that I would reach the position where I am today. I know that when people’s expectations increase, this situation can be ‘dangerous’, but I don’t think like this. I just do my work with full honesty and leave the rest to fate.”

Jaideep was last seen in the film ‘Ikkis’, which was the last film of veteran actor Dharmendra. Like always, Jaideep’s acting in this film was highly appreciated by the audience. On this, Jaideep said that there are very few stories which touch human sensibilities so deeply, hence he considers himself lucky to be a part of it.
