Sergio Gore, considered close to US President Donald Trump, has taken over the post of US Ambassador to India. After assuming the post of Ambassador, Sergio Gore has given many important statements regarding the relations between India and America. He has also expressed hope that President Donald Trump will visit India in the next one-two years. Apart from this, Sergio Gore has also given many important statements regarding the relationship between President Donald Trump and PM Modi and India-America relations.

True friendship between PM Modi and Trump- Sergio Gore

US Ambassador Sergio Gore has also talked about the relationship between PM Modi and President Trump. He said, “I have traveled all over the world with President Trump, and I can say with certainty that Donald Trump’s friendship with PM Modi is genuine. America and India are connected not only by common interests but also by a strong relationship. True friends may disagree, but in the end they always resolve their differences.”

India’s offer to join Paxsilica

After assuming the post of US Ambassador to India, Sergio Gore said- “I am pleased to announce that next month India will be invited to join PAXSILICA as a full member.” He said- “Today I would also like to share with you a new initiative that the US launched just last month, named PaxSilica. PaxSilica is a US-led strategic initiative that aims to create a secure, prosperous and innovation-based silicon supply chain ranging from critical minerals and energy inputs to advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, AI development and logistics. Countries that joined last month include Japan, South Korea, United Kingdom And Israel. Today, I am pleased to announce that India will be invited to join this group of countries as a full member next month.”

Also got update on trade deal

US Ambassador Sergio Gore said – “Many of you have asked me for an update on the ongoing trade deal negotiations. Both sides are actively negotiating. In fact, the next talks on trade will take place tomorrow. India is the largest country in the world, so taking it to the final stage is not an easy task but we are working with determination to complete it and although trade is very important for our relationship, we can also work on other areas like security, counter-terrorism, energy, technology, education and health. We will continue to work together in very important areas also.”

I have come to India with deep respect- Sergio Gore

After assuming office, US Ambassador Sergio Gore said – “I am very pleased to be here as the Ambassador of the United States. I come to this wonderful country with deep respect and a clear mission and that is to take the partnership between our two countries to the next level. This is the union of the world’s oldest democracy and the world’s largest democracy.” Sergio Gore further said- “During the last dinner, President Trump talked about his previous visit to India and his deep friendship with the great Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. I hope that the President will visit us soon, hopefully in the next year or two. President Trump has a habit of calling at 2 in the morning, and considering the time difference in New Delhi, it will be quite nice.”

No partner is more important than India – Sergio Gore

After taking over as Ambassador, Sergio Gore said – “There is no more important partner than India. In the coming months and years, my goal as Ambassador is to pursue a very ambitious agenda. We will do this as true strategic partners, each bringing their strengths, respect and leadership to the fore. I spoke to President Trump just yesterday, and I bring his good wishes to all the people of India, especially their dear friend, our wonderful Prime Minister Modi. I spoke to President Trump So I told them that I had just passed by the beautiful India Gate.”

After assuming the post of US Ambassador to India, Sergio Gore said, “As the world embraces new technology, it is essential that India and the United States work together from the very beginning of this initiative. I thank the people of India for this warm welcome. You are hard-working people. You are innovative. You are spiritual. I look forward to meeting many of you as I travel through this wonderful country.”
