‘Habibullah’ and ‘Habibi’ were roaming around Har Ki Pauri in Sheikh’s attire, both arrested

On Tuesday, a video of two youths dressed as Sheikh (Kandura) at Har Ki Pauri, the main bathing ghat of Ganga in Haridwar, has gone viral. After this the police started investigating. Amidst the demand to ban the entry of non-Hindus at all the Ganga Ghats located in the Haridwar Kumbh Mela area, there was a stir after the video of these youths roaming in and around Malviya Ghat in Har Ki Pauri went viral on social media.

Both the youths ran away as soon as the officers arrived

After this, the pilgrim priests informed their organization Ganga Sabha, who informed the police. However, the youth left the place before Ganga Sabha officials and police arrived. These youths, who are roaming around in Sheikh’s attire, have also told their names to the people.

People were named Habibullah and Habibi

The priests of the ghat told that when they stopped the youth roaming in Kandura and questioned them, they told their names as Habibullah and Habibi, residents of Dubai. When asked, he described himself as a social media influencer and talked about making videos for YouTube.

Said in the video, can roam anywhere in India

Habibullah, one of the youths seen in the viral video, can be heard saying, ‘They can roam anywhere in India.’ After this he can be seen comfortably roaming around Har Ki Pauri.

Attempt to spoil the atmosphere of Har Ki Pauri

Ganga Sabha official Ujjwal Pandit said that after getting information about these two youths, a search was started, but by then they had gone. Pandit alleged that it is clear from the video that a deliberate attempt was made to spoil the atmosphere of Har Ki Pauri.

Both youths arrested

After the matter reached the police, investigation has been started on the basis of the viral video. The police have arrested both the youths. Haridwar Police wrote on social media platform X, confusion is being spread by making videos in Arabic costumes. Haridwar Police has disclosed the matter.

Did all this for the sake of like-comment

Also, Haridwar Police posted the video of both of them and said, ‘Playing with the dignity of every woman has taken a heavy toll. Within a few hours the police caught both the accused. In the desire of like-comment, these youth have broken the law. Now both of them will have to face jail. Along with this, the police said that they had chosen a sensitive spot for some views.
