‘Nobody can stop BJP from forming government in Bengal’, CM of neighboring state gives reason

Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Tuesday said that no force can stop the Bharatiya Janata Party from forming the government in West Bengal. He alleged that the ruling party of Bengal has ruined the state and is trying to make it a ‘mini Pakistan’. Addressing an organizational meeting at Araliya Community Hall, Saha said that fear is a sign of weakness. He said, ‘Those who are afraid cannot change the society. Those who once fought against CPM have now come together to contest the elections. What kind of policy is this? These are all signs of fear.

‘Double engine government is working at full speed’

Saha further said, ‘We have democracy, so people can say whatever they want. CPM is expert in lying. We never raised the slogan ‘TTAADC Chalo’. Congress had many opportunities to do something, but they fought against the misgovernance of CPM and cheated the people to contest the elections. Now we understand how CPM ruled the state in the last 35 years. Chief Minister Saha said that everyone should work, because there is no alternative. He added that the double engine government is working at full speed and CPM will be nowhere to be seen in the coming days.

‘The situation changed after PM Modi came to power’

Tripura CM said, ‘BJP works only for the people, but the opposition only thinks about itself and likes to sit at home. They take all the benefits from the government, but keep changing colours. We are working and following the ideology of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. Service to man is service to God. We should work for the people. Before 2014, our country had to face a lot of problems and the North East was also affected. But the situation changed after Prime Minister Modi came to power. We are not a goonda party. We do not attack; We take action by following the law.

‘People are raising their voice in West Bengal’

Saha said, ‘We are working to create a ‘New Tripura’. Now we should focus on TTAADC and the 10 seats where CPM won. CPM is known for violence and terror during its rule. They murdered many people and there was no justice. People had to go to the party office for help. He killed his own minister. There has been no political murder after our party came to power. The way efforts are being made to create a mini Pakistan in West Bengal, people are opposing it and raising their voice. We are confident that BJP will win in the coming days and no one can stop us.
