Akshay Kumar cast his vote in BMC elections, said- vote instead of talking.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has fulfilled his responsibility of being an Indian citizen. He has cast his precious vote in the ongoing Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections 2026 in Maharashtra on 15 January. After completing the voting process, Akshay spoke to the media and also appealed to the public to vote. The actor told the people of Maharashtra that if they want improvement in Mumbai, they will have to become the real hero here.

“As Mumbaikars, today the power is in our hands”

PTI Speaking to PTI, Akshay said, “Today is the BMC election, and as Mumbaikars, this is the day when power is in our hands. So, all the people of Mumbai should come out and vote, instead of complaining about the system getting worse later. If you want to be the real hero of Mumbai, instead of talking, come out and vote.” On the other hand, actress Sanya Malhotra has also cast her vote for the Municipal Corporation elections 2026.
