Ravneet Singh Bittu Controversy: The controversy over the spat between opposition leader Rahul Gandhi and Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu is increasing. Sikh leaders of BJP have surrounded Rahul Gandhi by holding a press conference on this matter and accused him of insulting the Sikh community. On Rahul Gandhi’s use of the word ‘traitor’ for BJP MP Ravneet Singh Bittu, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that Rahul Gandhi called Ravneet Bittu a ‘traitor’. The use of such a word should not be taken lightly, because traitor means one who betrays the country. This is a serious topic for the Sikh community.

Hardeep Singh Puri is saying that he is a traitor after leaving the party.

Hardeep Singh Puri further said, ‘Rahul Gandhi is angry with Ravneet Singh Bittu for leaving the Congress party, but he also told Bittu that you will come back. Just because a man wearing a turban leaves your party, you will call him a traitor. The words he used are not acceptable to us. It is unacceptable for us to call any person from any community a traitor. Parliamentary discussions should be conducted with decency and civilized language both in and outside Parliament.

Rahul has hatred towards Sikhs – Sirsa

At the same time, Delhi government minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that the remarks made by Rahul Gandhi against the Sikh minister are condemnable. Sometimes they call Sikhs terrorists and sometimes they call them dividers of the country. They put tires around the necks of Sikhs and set them on fire. If there is any traitor in the country, it is the Gandhi family. This is that sinful family, that traitor who had given advertisements in newspapers calling Sikhs terrorists. They have hatred towards Sikhs.

Resentment and anger in Sikh community- Lovely

Apart from this, Arvinder Singh Lovely said that there is resentment and anger in the Sikh community regarding Rahul Gandhi’s statement. How did the person whose grandfather sacrificed his life become a traitor to the country? This is not the first time. He has always been hurting the sentiments of Sikhs.
