Obscene song on stage: File case against hero

Cinema heroes are no longer ‘heroes’ in movies and in real life. Leaders are bullies, slashers, killers. Even in real life some leading actors show similar rowdy and evil behavior. Chandrahas is a new addition to the list of such ‘evil heroes’. This new Telugu hero not only sang a vulgar song on stage but also threatened those who questioned him.

Chandrahas, nicknamed Attitude Star, is the son of veteran actor ETV Prabhakar. Now his acting movie ‘Barabar Premistha’ will be released. Chandrahas sang an obscene song on stage during the promotion of the movie. Actor Chandrahas sang an obscene song out of pride and ego even though many women including the heroine of the movie and many seniors including famous actor JD Chakraborty were sitting in front of him.

In the song, the words below the waist have been used. This made many women and journalists, including the guest JD Chakraborty, angry. When some journalists who were there after the song asked Chandrahas about the obscene song image, Chandrahas got angry and even threatened a journalist. After that, the police registered a complaint against Chandrahas.

As the incident took the form of a controversy, director Sampath Rudra and the producers of ‘Barabar Premista’ came to the media and apologized. “That song is not in our movie, it is a work done by our hero with great enthusiasm. We are also shocked by this,” he clarified. But only actor Chandrahas said, ‘I will not apologize to anyone. He said that only a few parts of my song have been cut and are being used for my tejovadha.
