Bengaluru: Famous Kannada film composer and music director Hamsalekha has been honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by Bangalore International Film Festival. (Bengaluru Film Festival) Friday (February 6) will see the conclusion, and this ceremony will be Hamsalekha (Hamsalekha) He is honored with Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his services to Kannada cinema.
In this regard, Karnataka Film Academy Registrar Vinod Chandra and Chirotsava Artistic Director Murali met Hamsalekha today (February 5) and invited him to the award ceremony.
The closing ceremony of the 17th Bangalore International Film Festival, which has won the hearts of moviegoers for the past one week, will be held at Lulu Mall at 6 pm. Hamsalekha will be awarded on this occasion. In this film festival, there are three competition categories namely Asian cinema, Indian cinema and Kannada cinema, and those who competed in these categories and won the award were awarded by Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar will present the award.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Dinesh Goondurao will preside over the function. Karnataka Film Academy President Dr. Sadhu Kokila, Chairman of Karnataka Film Board of Trade Dr. Jayamala, Chirotsava ambassador Prakash Raj and others will participate.

Actress, producer Jayamala, who has completed 50 years in the Kannada film industry, veteran director S.V. Rajendrasingh Babu, producer Parvathamma Rajkumar and senior cinematographer S. Ramachandra will be honored. On behalf of Parvathamma, her daughter Purnima Ramkumar, S. His daughter Usha will receive the honor on behalf of Ramachandra.
