Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won their second title by defeating Delhi Capitals (DC) by 6 wickets in the final of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026. In the final held in Vadodara, DC team batted first and scored 203/4. In reply, RCB team achieved the target with 2 balls remaining. RCB achieved the biggest target in the history of WPL. MI had won the title in the first edition
The inaugural edition of the WPL was played in 2023, with the title being won by Mumbai Indians (MI). In the final, DC scored 131 runs by losing 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, in which captain Meg Lanning (35) scored the highest runs. In reply, MI team won by scoring 134 runs losing 3 wickets in 19.3 overs. Nat Sciver Brunt scored the highest score of 60* for MI.
RCB became the winner in the second edition
RCB became the winner in WPL 2024. In the final match played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, RCB defeated DC by 8 wickets. Batting first, DC scored 113 runs losing all the wickets. In reply, RCB achieved the target of 114 runs in 19.3 overs thanks to the innings of Sophie Devine (32) and Ellyse Perry (35*).
MI won its second title
MI won its second title in WPL 2025. In the final match, MI performed brilliantly and defeated DC by 8 runs. In the title match, MI batted first and scored 149/7.
