Actor was running away after hitting bike rider with car, arrested after surrender-VIDEO

Malayalam film actor Maniyanpilla Raju has been arrested in the hit and run case. On Thursday night, two youths were seriously injured in a hit-and-run case near Trivandrum Club in Vazhudakod in the capital Thiruvananthapuram. Actor Raju was very scared after the accident, so he did not stop his car.

Bike rider seriously injured

According to the police, the accident happened around 9.30 pm on February 5, when the actor’s car hit a Royal Enfield motorcycle. 20-year-old Suraj and 20-year-old Nivedith Krishna, who were traveling in a two-wheeler, were seriously injured.

Actor Raju did not stop the car out of fear

Actor Raju later surrendered at the Museum police station, police said. Raju confirmed that he was the one driving and claimed that the motorcycle had collided with his car. He said that this is also visible in the CCTV footage, Raju said that out of fear he did not stop the car and said that he was a cancer patient.

Actor’s medical examination after arrest

Actor Raju said that he immediately contacted the police on phone and asked them to come to the station in the morning. The Museum Police has arrested him and currently the medical checkup of the actor is going on.
