‘Pappu has finally stamped his name’, Navjot Kaur Sidhu tells candidly

Congress leader Navjot Kaur Sidhu had announced last week that she had left the party. Let us tell you that Navjot Kaur had commented last month that “Rs 500 crores have to be paid for the Chief Minister’s chair”, due to which a big political controversy had arisen. Congress took action against him and suspended him from the primary membership of the party. Today he has vented his anger on this matter on social media.

What did Navjot Kaur say after leaving Congress?

Navjot Kaur Sidhu has written a long post on her social media platform X. He has written, “Pappu has finally stamped his name. A leader who thinks that he is the only honest and knowledgeable person, who has no idea about the ground reality. People working in his inner circle succeed in keeping him away and enjoy the luxuries of life by selling tickets long before he takes any decision. It takes more than 6 months to respond to an emergency call, by which time the damage is certain to happen. Before asking people to join him, he should ask his so called supporters if they are ready to be honest??? Are they ready to be honest and work for Punjab??”

He further wrote, ‘Most of your followers are not ready for selfless service, rather they are busy filling their pockets because they know that they are not going to come back. If you have courage then ask them to speak against the current government and be prepared…to get your files opened. Learn to speak the truth and face it as it is, was and always will be. Advice to a good friend: Be more attentive, understanding, receptive and practical.

Navjot Kaur Sidhu is the wife of former Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu. Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi, he said that he neither has time nor ears to listen to the ground reality, because Rahul likes to live in the world of his own creation. Navjot posted on I got the freedom and opportunity to speak the truth and work honestly and truthfully. I could go to any department and get my work done and come back the same day.”

Rahul Gandhi ji, you have neither time nor ears to listen to the ground reality, because you like to live in a world of your own creation. You think people like me, who have worked so hard to become a postgraduate, have time to spare for you??? No, my time is only for the people of Punjab and I can work for them without politics. Most of your so called followers have gone to BJP office. Neither have I met anyone till date nor has anyone come to me. I may work through a foundation, but my time and energy is only for the betterment of Punjab. Learn to respect honest and hardworking people, otherwise you will lose your existence in politics. There is no point in talking about honesty and truth when mostly corrupt leaders are given respect in your party. Good luck.”
