Once again a question mark on the future of the film

Now a big legal issue is stuck regarding the ownership rights of ‘Hera Pheri 3’. Earlier there were reports that Akshay has purchased the rights of this franchise from producer Firoz Nadiadwala, but now South producer GP Vijayakumar has approached the court challenging this claim. Vijaykumar claims that the original rights of the Hindi adaptation of this film are with him and not with Firoz or Akshay Kumar.

Who is the real owner? New twist in ‘Hera Pheri 3’ as claimed by South producer

Vijayakumar has alleged in the court that he had purchased the rights of this entire franchise long ago from the original producers of the Malayalam film ‘Ramji Rao Speaking’. He says that he had acquired these rights even before the sequel of the film was made, hence the real rights of its Hindi adaptation are his. His claim has increased his troubles by raising legal questions on the deal made between Akshay and Firoz.

Firoz Nadiadwala violated rights

The managing director of South’s company Seven Arts International has made a big revelation in this controversy. According to him, Firoz Nadiadwala was given permission to make the Hindi adaptation only once, yet he made the second installment, which was a violation of rights. According to the petition filed this week, Firoz has no legal rights to make any sequel, prequel to this film or use its characters.

The path to the third film became difficult

Hindustan Times The producer clarified that no objection was raised due to his close relationship with the first film’s director Priyadarshan. The copyright holders of the second film ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ made a big mistake and failed to notice the violation, but now as the preparations for the third film begin, the rightful owners have approached the court for their legal rights. In such a situation, there is no idea when ‘Hera Pheri 3’ will come.
