Banswara: A vigorous campaign is going on for the upcoming municipal elections in Telangana and leaders are seen taking fierce shots at each other. During this, the working president of Bharat Rashtra Samiti, KT. Rama Rao fiercely attacked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Saturday. He described Revanth Reddy as BJP’s ‘Trojan Horse’ in Congress, i.e. a hidden enemy who attacks from within. Addressing the gathering after a major roadshow, KTR appealed to the voters, especially the minorities, to remove the ‘mask’ of the Congress and see the saffron color hidden beneath it.

‘Revanth Reddy was never a Congressman at heart’

KTR said, ‘Revanth was never a Congressman at heart, he is completely a BJP person. He is like the younger brother of Delhi’s ‘elder brother’. He hinted that there is some secret agreement between the Chief Minister and top BJP leaders. KTR took a dig at the Chief Minister’s increasingly aggressive and often foul language political style. He called Revanth ‘Lagula Thondala Reddy’ (Reddy with the lizard hidden in his pants). He alleged that Revanth focuses on abuses rather than governance. When the opposition demands accountability from him for the ‘420 failed promises’, he issues street threats like ‘pulling out the intestines’ or ‘playing with the eyes’.

‘KCR doesn’t even recognize Revanth’

KTR said, ‘His government has had only one agenda for the last 2 years, to criticize KCR. They chant KCR’s name as much as any devotee writes ‘Ram Koti’. The funny thing is that KCR doesn’t even recognize him, and that’s why Revanth always remains frustrated. He also attacked former speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, who had recently joined the Congress. KTR played old video clips of Revanth Reddy, in which he had allegedly called Pocharam a ‘bull’ and his sons as ‘buffaloes’ who are involved in sand smuggling.

‘Jump into the well with a stone tied around your neck’

Taking aim at Pocharam, KTR said, ‘Pocharam had once sworn on Lord Venkateswara and promised lifelong loyalty to KCR. Today he has sold his soul for a few ‘crumbs’ from Revanth’s table. If they have even a little self-respect left, they should resign and contest elections again. Otherwise, follow Revanth’s old advice and tie a stone around your neck and jump into the well. Comparing it to notorious gangs like Dandu Palayam and Stuartpuram, KTR accused the Congress that its ‘loot and run’ policy has now reached the municipality level.
