This country belongs to everyone: Akbaruddin Owaisi
Akbaruddin Owaisi said that this country is not anyone’s property. This country belongs to everyone. This country was ours, is ours, was ours and will remain ours. We also made sacrifices for this country. He was crucified. This country belongs to everyone. Today in the country there is talk only about Hindus and Muslims. Akbaruddin Owaisi said that the issue of this country is only Hindu-Muslim. Owaisi said – O foolish ones, the biggest issue of this country is unemployment, the biggest issue of this country is inflation, there is no roof on the houses here, the biggest issue is that there is no clean drinking water, there is no electricity in many houses.
Let us tell you that Akbaruddin Owaisi is a senior leader of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). He is the brother of this party’s supremo Asaduddin Owaisi. He has been elected MLA from Chandrayangutta constituency of Hyderabad for six consecutive times (1999, 2004, 2009, 2014, 2018 and 2023). At present he is the ‘floor leader’ of AIMIM in the assembly. In the year 2023, he was also appointed Protem Speaker of Telangana Assembly.
’15 minute’ statement
His ’15 minutes’ statement was controversial. In a speech in Adilabad in December 2012, he said that “If the police are withdrawn for 15 minutes, 25 crore Muslims will show how powerful they are against 100 crore Hindus.” There was a lot of uproar over this statement. Many cases of head speech were registered against him and he also had to go to jail.
