Bengaluru, 9th February: Actor and team owner Kiccha Sudeep spoke about this as the roads of Goa gear up to become a high-intensity racing arena for the Indian Racing Festival (IRF) on February 14 and 15, 2026. Street racing is the ultimate test of timing, courage and poise and these are the values that define the ‘Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru’ team, he said.
“On the permanent circuit, everything is under control. But street racing completely changes the mental state. It’s not just about perfection; it’s about resilience to face challenges. It’s not just a race, it’s a test of spirit and courage. When the city comes alive around you, the team has to compete accordingly,” said Sudeep.
According to Sudeep, street racing brings motorsport closer to the people. Taking the sport out of closed circuits and into the heart of the city. It will be a very loud, intense competition. There is no room for even a small mistake here. People power is what keeps the team always alert and sharp. He said that the energy will keep everyone awake.
Preparing for the Goa Street Race is a new challenge for the Bangalore-based team as there is no old data available for this circuit. “We trust our drivers’ intuition, experience and discipline. Accuracy and control are more important here than excessive speed. Everything depends on control and clarity,” said Sudeep.
French racer Sachel Rotge is at the forefront of this campaign. He is Europe’s rising single-seater talent and the 2025 F4 India vice champion. Also got a full scholarship through RPPL’s F4 Shootout programme. “The fact that a young European racer is choosing India as a platform to prove his talent shows the confidence that global talent has in our racing system,” said Sudeep.
Ruhaan Alva is the hope of Bengaluru and India. He is the youngest race winner in Indian Racing League history and the 2024 F4 India Vice Champion. He has already attracted global attention by achieving podium finishes in British races. “Ruhan is a symbol of the future – young, fearless and global-minded. The people of Bengaluru should be proud of his journey,” said Sudeep.

Adding more strength to the team is Kyle Kumaran. He is a vice world champion in karting across the Middle East and has honed his racing skills through intense competition at the international level. “Kyle’s world-class experience brings maturity and composure; these are essential qualities for street racing,” opines Sudeep.
Completing the team is British racer and female driver Jem Hepworth. He is a Rafa Racing team driver and has a podium finish in the McLaren Trophy. Gem brings to the team the experience of having competed on some of the toughest racing grids in the world. Sudeep said that such an experience raises the bar within the garage and motivates everyone to perform even better.
According to Sudeep, the tough nature of street circuits poses a huge emotional challenge. “One small mistake on a street circuit can cost you everything. Drivers must respect track limits, but never fear them. Without balance there is no race; in that balance lies victory,” he said.
As the Kitchas Kings Bengaluru team heads to Goa for the weekend, Sudeep believes the team will carry the spirit of the city with them. “Bangalore is a city that thrives on resilience, innovation and ambition. We have brought the spirit of this city on the track. We are going into this race with this mindset,” said Sudeep.
