Arunachal Pradesh shaken by earthquake, know the intensity on Richter scale

Earthquake: The land of Arunachal Pradesh was once again shaken by earthquake tremors. Earthquake tremors were felt at 12.58 am in West Kameng district of the state. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 3.1 on the Richter scale.

National Center for Seismology gave this information

At present there is no news of any damage due to the earthquake. However, most of the people were sleeping in their homes when the earthquake occurred. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) said on social media that the earthquake was recorded at 27.45° N latitude and 92.11° E longitude at a depth of 10 km.

Earthquake also occurred on 28 July 2025

Earlier, on July 28 last year, an earthquake of magnitude 3.5 struck Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh at 18:36:23 Indian Standard Time (IST), according to the National Center of Seismology. According to the NCS, the earthquake’s location was at 27.06 N latitude, 95.42 E longitude, with a depth of 7 km.

Earthquake tremors felt in Sikkim also

Earthquake tremors were also felt in Sikkim at 5.38 am. According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 5 km underground in Namchi, Sikkim.
