New Delhi: There is a stir in the country over the autobiography ‘Four Stars of Destiny’ of former Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is adopting an attacking attitude towards BJP regarding his book.

Meanwhile, General Naravane has shared his side regarding his book on his X handle. Sharing Penguin India’s statement on X, he said, “This is the current status of the book.”

That is, General Naravane has made it clear regarding his book that what Penguin India Publication had said is the status of his book.

Penguin Random House India had issued a statement on the autobiography Four Stars of Destiny saying, “In view of the recent public discussion and media reports, Penguin Random House India would like to clarify that we retain the publishing rights of the book Four Stars of Destiny, written by General Manoj Mukund Naravane, former chief of the Indian Army. We wish to clarify that the book has not yet been published. The book is being published by Penguin Random House India. No copy – whether in printed or digital form – has been published, distributed, sold or made available to the public by any other means.”

Penguin Random House India said, “Any copy of the book, whether complete or partial, printed, digital, PDF or in any other format, online or offline, being circulated on any platform, is in violation of PRHI’s copyright and must be stopped immediately. Penguin Random House India will exercise all legally available remedies against the illegal and unauthorized dissemination of the book. This statement is being issued to clarify the publisher’s position.”

It is noteworthy that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had also reached the House with a copy of this book and tried his best to corner the BJP. Whereas BJP had denied Rahul Gandhi’s claims regarding this book. Top BJP leaders had said that this book has not been published yet.
