Speaking at a college event, Rajamouli said that he watched both the series ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Breaking Bad’ and did not like the last season of both these series. Actually, they tried to write some scenes in the movie ‘Baahubali 2’ based on the ‘Battle of the Barsards’ episode of the ‘Game of Thrones’ series. In particular, Rajamouli wanted to make the climax scene between the second Baahubali and Ballala Deva similar to the ‘Battle of the Barsards’. It is as if he started writing based on that. But that was not possible, the story took us to another direction, says Rajamouli.

Rajamouli is currently directing the movie ‘Varanasi’ and in an interview given before the shooting of this movie, he said that he was inspired by the movie ‘Indiana Jones’. But over time, the cinematography seems to have been changed to suit Indian mythology.
