Rahul Gandhi once again attacked the dignity of Parliament, again lowered the level of debate in Parliament, and under the guise of debate on the budget, said baseless things to tarnish the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rahul Gandhi said, Modi has sold the country to America, America has strangled Modi, Modi has made a deal in the national interest. After this, Rahul Gandhi mentioned the Epstein file and said that Union Minister Hardeep Puri’s name is in the Epstein file, that is why Modi got scared of America.

The allegations made by Rahul had no solid basis, he had no evidence. What he said was against the rule book of Lok Sabha. Therefore the objectionable parts of his speech were removed from the proceedings of Parliament. Rahul Gandhi also knows that the allegations he has made will be difficult to prove. Even after this, why did he do this? What was his intention? Taking the name of worldwide infamous sex offender, child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, Rahul Gandhi said that the names of Union Minister Hardeep Puri and industrialist Anil Ambani are also there in the approximately 30 lakh files related to Epstein released by the US Department of Justice, that is why Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scared.

Petroleum Minister Hardeep Puri said that the Epstein file in which his name has appeared is of November 2014. At that time he had retired from government service and was working for the International Peace Institute. Hardeep Puri said that the file in which his name has appeared is an e-mail which he had written to the founder of the social networking site LinkedIn. It was said in it that after the arrival of Modi, India’s internet economy is growing very fast, hence LinkedIn should invest capital in India, what is wrong in this?

Hardeep Puri said that he went to America in 2009 and stayed for about eight years, during which he met Jeffrey Epstein three-four times, but this was not a one-to-one meeting. Rahul Gandhi should understand the difference between the other accused in the Epstein case and his name coming up. Whenever Rahul Gandhi makes any accusation, he is unable to stand it. The reason for this is that they make allegations without evidence, without concrete documents and are never able to prove their point. Be it the question of purchase of Rafale planes, or the issue of EVM malfunction, who knows how many times Rahul made allegations and could not prove them. Same thing happened in Hardeep Puri’s case also. Rahul has made a mountain out of a molehill. Epstein is America’s problem, he should handle it. Why do we need to step into its gap?

Those who know Narendra Modi can tell that it is not Modi’s nature to be afraid, to bow down, to fall. If Trump had to bow down, the deal with America would have been done many months ago. If Modi had compromised with Trump, 50 percent tariff would never have been imposed. Trump has also admitted that Modi is a tough negotiator and it is no secret that in the last 10 years, India has learned to live with its head held high not only in front of America but the whole world. People who live in America and Europe tell how much their status has increased. That is why there is no meaning in Rahul’s words that Modi has sold India and America has grabbed Modi by the throat. This is the difference between accusing and abusing. Abuses do not require any proof. (Rajat Sharma)
