No discount for a close friend, how much did Rajinikanth get for a movie with Kamal?

Superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are two polar stars of Indian cinema. This duo has ruled the Tamil film industry for almost five decades. It has been years since Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, who have a huge fan base, acted together in the same movie. But now after almost 35 years these two actors are reuniting. Specially, Kamal Haasan himself is investing in the movie with Rajinikanth. It is said that this will be a historical movie. But Rajinikanth is the only one who is taking huge remuneration for the movie without giving any concession to his friend.

Kamal Haasan will be producing the movie in which Rajinikanth will play the lead role and he will also be playing an important role. Producer Kamal Haasan will pay Rs 225 crore to Rajinikanth for this mega project. This will be one of the highest salaries paid to an actor in the history of Indian cinema. Kamal Haasan’s own production house ‘Raj Kamal Films International’ is producing this film.

Rumors were heard that the young talent Lokesh Kanagaraj will narrate the action cut for the much awaited film but now it is false. Lokesh himself said that he is not directing that movie. It is said that Nitilan Swaminathan, who gave a huge hit with the movie ‘Maharaja’, will direct it. Later that too was false and Nelson Dilip Kumar, who directed ‘Jailor’ and ‘Jailor 2’, is now responsible for directing this movie.

Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan last acted together in the movie ‘Giraftaar’ almost 35 years ago. Now after 35 years, both of them are going to act together, which has made the movie audience very curious. Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan fans are eagerly waiting for the movie. It is said that the shooting of the title promo of the movie will be done tomorrow (February 14).

It looks like a story has been prepared with equal importance for both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. Currently, Rajinikanth is busy with ‘Jailor 2’. Kamal Haasan will act in the movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
