Bengaluru: In Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, known as Silicon City, unruly vehicles speeding on the roads took away the happiness of a laughing family. A 26-year-old woman died after being hit by a speeding bike in Rajajinagar on Tuesday. The female employee worked in a private bank and had come out of the office to take lunch.
Woman used to work in HDFC Bank
According to the information, a 26-year-old woman named Yogeshwari used to work in HDFC Bank. She was posted in the branch located at Rajaji Nagar. According to information received from the police, the accident happened around 12:45 pm on Tuesday when she was going to take lunch. According to the information, Yogeshwari was crossing the road in front of HDFC Home Loan Office, when a speeding bike hit her hard. The collision was so strong that Yogeshwari fell several feet away on the road.

Yogeshwari suffered serious injuries due to the horrific collision of the bike and falling on the road. Immediately after the accident, Yogeshwari was admitted to a nearby hospital with the help of local people and police. But due to serious internal injuries and excessive bleeding, he died during treatment at 11.30 pm. Police have registered an FIR against the bike rider and further investigation into the case is underway.
CCTV footage of the accident surfaced
The shocking CCTV footage of this accident has come to light. In this footage the bike rider can be seen driving the vehicle carelessly. The speed of the bike was quite fast. It is clearly visible in the CCTV that Yogeshwari and another woman are trying to cross the road near the road divider. Meanwhile, when Yogeshwari starts crossing the road, a bike comes at very high speed and hits Yogeshwari. As soon as the bike collides, Yogeshwari jumps in the air and falls far away. The bike rider also falls there. After this, a crowd of people gathers at the spot.
Anger among local people due to the accident
After this incident, there is deep anger among the residents and bank employees of the area. In busy areas like Rajajinagar, drivers do not follow the speed limit even during the afternoon. Here people drive at high speed in an unbridled manner due to which pedestrians remain in fear of accidents.
