Quinoa Upma

Upma is a common South Indian snack, usually made with semolina. But you can also make it with quinoa. For this, first wash and soak the quinoa, then heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, gram dal, green chillies and curry leaves. Now add chopped vegetables to it and let it cook for some time. After this, add washed quinoa, add water and cover it and let it cook.

Quinoa Khichdi

Khichdi is a nutritious and balanced meal, which you can make with quinoa. For this, first wash and soak the quinoa, then heat oil in a pressure cooker and add mustard seeds, cumin, asafoetida and green chillies. Now add chopped onion, tomato and ginger-garlic paste and fry. After this, add washed quinoa, moong dal and water and let it cook for 2 whistles. Serve hot khichdi with ghee and pickle.

Now heat oil on the pan and fry the tikkis until they turn golden. Serve hot tikkis with green chutney.

Quinoa Dosa

Dosa is a famous dish of South India, which you can make with quinoa. For this, first wash and soak the quinoa, then let it soak in water overnight. In the morning, grind this soaked grain and make a fine paste. Now prepare a thin solution by adding salt to this paste. Now apply oil on the pan, spread this solution and cook it on both sides. Serve hot dosa with coconut chutney and sambar.
