President of the Republic of Estonia, Alar Karis, has visited India. President Karis visited Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi along with a special delegation from Estonian capital, Tallinn. President Karis was also accompanied by Marje Loup, Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to India, senior officials of the President’s Office, members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives of the Estonian digital and AI sector. AI-Leap leaders also participated in the visit to Akshardham Temple in Delhi.

On reaching the Akshardham Temple complex, the President and his delegation were accorded a traditional welcome by Divya Amrit Das Swami, Gyanamunidas Swami and senior staff. He visited the temple and performed Abhishekam, in which he prayed for global peace, harmony and well-being of all communities.
Also experienced cultural boating
The delegation also experienced cultural boating, which gave them an insight into India’s rich heritage, philosophy and contribution to human progress. The visit reflected the shared commitment of Estonia and India towards dialogue, innovation and intercultural understanding.

CARIS’s visit to India witnessed good bonding between the two countries, especially in the field of digital development and moral development. The presence of senior officials from the Estonian Department of Digital and Cyber Diplomacy and AI-LEAP underlined the importance of responsible technology and global cooperation.

In a personal letter to President Karis, His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj expressed his gratitude for the President’s visit. He prayed for the peace and prosperity of Estonia and its citizens, as well as the health and success of the President. He also expressed hope that the friendly relations between Estonia and India will continue to grow stronger through mutual understanding and cooperation.
