A man stopped a woman for listening to a devotional song at an outlet, police registered a case

A case has been registered after an incident that took place on Friday in Banswara town of Kamareddy district of Telangana. Around 4:30 pm, a woman working at a Reliance Mart outlet in Banswara was listening to a devotional song when a man approached her and asked why she was not playing other songs. The man also recorded a video during the conversation.

People gathered and debate started.

Based on the woman’s complaint, a case has been registered at Banswara Town Police Station. Investigation is still going on. After news of the incident spread, members of the two groups gathered near the Reliance Mart area, leading to an argument and tension.

Police said, strict action will be taken against the accused

On receiving information, District Superintendent of Police Rajesh Chandra, IPS, reached the spot and spoke to representatives of both the groups. Kamareddy Police assured that whoever is found responsible, strict action will be taken as per law.
