A shocking news has come out from Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh. A devotee waiting in line for darshan of Balaji at the famous Tirupati Venkateswara temple located here was bitten by a snake. This incident which happened early today has created a stir in Tirumala.
Woman stood in line after paying Rs 300
Monica, a devotee from Bhupalpally in Telangana, who was standing in the queue for Rs 300 to have darshan of Tirumala Srivari, was bitten by a snake. Upon learning of this, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Trust (TTD) staff immediately reached the spot and took Monica to Ashwini Hospital. After first aid there, he has been shifted to SWIMS Hospital in Tirupati for better treatment. It was learned that the woman’s condition is still stable.
TTD senior officers and security personnel alert
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Trust informed Monica’s family about the snake bite. On the other hand, senior TTD officials and security personnel have been alerted. The staff is thoroughly checking the lines where devotees are waiting. Senior TTD officials have assured the devotees that steps will be taken to ensure that such incidents do not happen in future.
