According to the information given by the police, a group of four to five youths from another community were fighting with a youth named Girish when Sanket intervened. After this the attackers attacked Sanket, according to the police, Sanket was punched in the chest by one of the accused due to which he fell unconscious and later died in the hospital. Girish has been admitted to the hospital.

Heavy security deployed in the area

After this incident came to light, local MLA S. N. Channabasappa visited the spot and later met the grieving family. He also inquired about the condition of the injured youth in McGann Hospital. Police have detained 5 minor suspects and registered a case at Tunganagar Police Station. As a precaution, heavy security has been deployed in the area.
